Hairstylist McKenzie White grew up in a small town just outside Grand Ledge called Sunfield. She went to Lakewood schools where she was a cheerleader for 10 years! Now, McKenzie is a mom to her 1-year-old chocolate lab, Whiskey.

 

McKenzie has been doing hair since she was little! She said, “I’ve been styling my mom and friends hair since middle school. I would watch YouTube videos all day long.” That passion for hairstyling led her to go to cosmetology school at Douglas J. Aveda Institute in East Lansing.

 

McKenzie has been a part of the Profiles team for nearly 4 years. When reflecting upon why she decided to work at Profiles, she said “I’ve heard really good things, and liked the environment and loved the people.”

 

As a hairstylist, McKenzie offers hair coloring services, cuts on men, women and children, facial waxing and even pedicures! “I love all things hair but I would have to say highlights and balayage are my favorite,” McKenzie said.

 

In the future, McKenzie is looking forward to building her clientele and continuing to do what she loves!
