Hair stylist Lizzy Nottage is a new mom, her son Lincoln was born in August of 2021. She loves spending time with Lincoln and her husband of 8 years, Cam. They all enjoy making memories together!

 

Lizzy has been a part of the Profiles team for 6 years, she started in 2016 and hasn’t looked back. She first became interested in doing hair by watching her mom who was a hairstylist. Lizzy was homeschooled, so she spent a lot of time with her mom in the salon.

 

Lizzy said, “In the back of my head I always knew that’s what I wanted to do!”

 

Lizzy attended cosmetology school at Protege Academy in East Lansing, and even studied at the TIGI academy in New York City. After cosmetology school, she ended up at Profiles. “It was the first and only salon I’ve worked at post cosmetology school!” Lizzy said. She continued, “I loved the small town salon vibe, I could tell they worked as a family and not just coworkers. That’s exactly what I was looking for in a salon!”

 

That family vibe is a large part of her favorite moments working at Profiles! Lizzy said, “I have loved all the laughs that we have shared throughout the years. Even during the shut down we all made sure to zoom at least once a week. We are all truly a family here.”

 

As a hairstylist, Lizzy offers colors, highlights, womens, mens, and kids cuts. Her favorite service to do is highlights.  Lizzy explained, “I really enjoy a good highlight, I always say that you can truly make your highlights your own.”

 

The future for Lizzy at Profiles is bright. She said, “I have been enjoying my new schedule that I have started since becoming a mom! I love the time that I can get out of the house for a couple hours to just enjoy some me time. Doing hair really is decompressing for me.”
